The America's Cup World Series is a series of match race regattas leading up to the 2013 America's Cup.

The Yachts

The World Series will use AC45 catamarans, a one-design wingsail catamaran with foils designed specifically for the event by Mike Drummond and the Oracle Racing engineering team. The AC45 is intended as a smaller version to the America's Cup larger AC72 and has the following specifications:

Oracle Racing will field two boats in the World Series.[1] Luna Rossa will join the series for 2012.
